The kitchen is big, beamed and Aga-simmered, with wooden cupboards and plenty of all you need; a squishy sofa at one end next to an overflowing bookcase ensures whoever cooks will have company.

Large traditional cottage sitting room with exposed timber ceiling, dark red walls and open fire with dining area at the far end. Central heating throughout.
The sitting room and dining area dates back to the 17th century, it oozes character, charm and warmth. The traditional range was used until the 1950’s for cooking, boiling the water and heating the bread oven. |

Over 65 original works of art throughout the cottage, and with over 600 books from the cottage's eclectic library, enough to satisfy any voracious bookworm.
There is Sky TV, a kitchen
filled with all mod cons,
video and stereo radio, and books and games, two sofas, four armchairs and the aga, the hub of the kitchen, always on and offering its welcoming warmth when entering the cottage. |
